2. Prep (Pro Tip): Leave your skin slightly damp after cleansing. Hyaluronic acid needs water to bind to!

3. Treat: Apply 3-4 drops of the Intensifier Serum, gently pressing and patting it into the skin until fully absorbed.

4. Lock it in: Never skip this step. Immediately apply your favorite Cyrène moisturizer (like CeraPep Barrier Support) to seal in all that beautiful hydration.

The FAQs 

Q: Most Hyaluronic Acid serums pill under my makeup. Will this? A: Not at all. Pilling is one of the most common complaints with standard HA serums. We formulated ours with an elegant, silky slip that absorbs seamlessly without leaving a film. It creates a plump, smooth canvas that actually grips your foundation and sunscreen better.

Q: Why does my skin sometimes feel dry after using other HA serums? A: If you use HA in a dry climate (or indoors with central heating) without sealing it, it can actually pull water out of your skin. That's why we formulated our serum with Ceramides. Pro Clinic Tip: For maximum plumping effect — particularly in dry climates or during winter months when ambient humidity is low — apply immediately after cleansing while the skin is still slightly damp, then mist lightly with water over the top before the serum fully absorbs. Yes. Cyrène Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier contains no retinoids, no salicylic acid, no essential oils, no fragrance, and no ingredients with established safety concerns during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Ceramide NP, Glycerin, and Beta-Glucan are all widely considered safe for use throughout pregnancy and during the breastfeeding period. What is the difference between Hyaluronic Acid and Sodium Hyaluronate?
Both are forms of hyaluronic acid, but they differ in molecular weight and therefore in where they act on the skin. Hyaluronic Acid at higher molecular weight works primarily at the surface of the skin — binding moisture and creating immediate visible plumping and smoothing. Sodium Hyaluronate is the sodium salt form with a smaller molecular weight that penetrates further into the epidermis, delivering hydration to deeper skin layers. Using both simultaneously — as this formula does — creates a layered hydration response across the full depth of the epidermis, rather than surface moisturisation alone.

Can I use this serum under retinol or retinal products?
Yes — and it is specifically recommended as part of the Diamond Retinal series protocol. Applying Cyrène Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier to slightly damp skin before any of the Diamond Retinal serums creates a hydration base that supports barrier resilience throughout overnight retinoid activity, reduces the transient dryness associated with retinaldehyde-driven cellular turnover, and — in the sandwich method — can moderate the rate of retinal penetration for those in the early stages of tolerance-building.

Can I use this morning and evening?
Yes — morning and evening, year-round, on all skin types. The formula contains no actives that create photosensitivity, no occlusive ingredients that would feel heavy under SPF, and no fragrance or irritants that limit frequency of use. In the morning, apply to slightly damp skin before moisturiser and SPF. In the evening, apply before any targeted active serums or night moisturisers.
