Our Founder

Cyrène was founded in 2012 by Shirin Köseoglu, a Cosmetic Chemist with an MSc in Cosmetic Science from De Montfort University and more than 20 years of experience at the forefront of advanced skincare science. Shirin has spent her career pioneering formulations rooted in a single, unwavering philosophy: create healthy skin.

Her deep expertise spans dermatological actives, photobiology, longevity science, and the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda — bridging time-honoured botanical traditions with modern cosmetic science to give Cyrène a rare combination of clinical rigour and genuine innovation.

Cyrène operates its own laboratory and manufacturing facility — meaning every formula is developed, tested, and produced in-house, under the direct supervision of our founder and her team.
