A-Game Changer
A silky, light emulsion containing beginner level retinal to help against all signs of aging. Contains 0.03% stable retinal, skin-soothing niacinamide, peptides and vitamin C for antioxidant protection.

Directions: Use only in the PM. After cleansing, massage a small amount of Diamond Retinal across the face, neck and décolletage. Allow to absorb and follow with moisturiser. Diamond Retinal application should be phased in gradually. Use twice a week for the first 2 weeks, every other night for the next 2 weeks, from the 5th week use every night. During the day, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.

Precautions: For external use only. Avoid direct contact with mucosa, eyes and lips. If contact occurs, flush thoroughly with water. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician. When to Use: PM only. Always follow with SPF 30 or higher the following morning.

Application Steps:

Cleanse thoroughly and pat skin completely dry
Apply Hyaluronic Acid serum first if layering — allow to absorb fully
Dispense 3–4 drops onto fingertips
Press gently across face and neck; avoid the immediate eye orbit and lip margin
Allow 60 seconds to absorb before applying a night moisturiser

Re-introduction Frequency — Even If DR1 Was Well Tolerated:

Weeks 1–2: Two to three applications per week
Weeks 3–4: Four applications per week
Week 5 onwards: Nightly, as tolerated

Do Not Combine In The Same Routine

AHAs & BHAs (Glycolic, Lactic, Salicylic Acid) — At this retinal concentration, combining chemical exfoliants in the same routine risks significant barrier compromise. Strictly alternate evenings.
High-Concentration L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C — The formula contains dual Vitamin C. Additional L-Ascorbic Acid in the same PM routine is unnecessary and risks pH instability.
Benzoyl Peroxide — Oxidises retinal on contact; renders the active ineffective.
Other Retinoid Products — Do not layer additional retinol or retinal products in the same routine.

When should I step up from Diamond Retinal 1 to Diamond Retinal 3?
The recommended progression is after eight to twelve weeks of consistent nightly use of Diamond Retinal 1, once the skin shows no signs of retinal sensitivity — no persistent redness, flaking, or tightness beyond the first week of introduction. At that point, the skin's retinoid receptor tolerance and barrier resilience are sufficiently established to support the step up to 0.03% retinal. Begin Diamond Retinal 3 at two to three applications per week and build back to nightly use over four weeks, even if nightly Diamond Retinal 1 was well tolerated.
